Public Speaking

Shape an idea, structure it, deliver it.

Four levels, from a first short speech in Grade 4 to private coaching for competition. Students work on one thing throughout: making an idea land with the people in front of them, the first time they hear it.

At a glance

Four levels, Foundation to Competitive

  • Foundation, Beginner, Intermediate, and Competitive.
  • Open from Grade 4. Foundation and Beginner are Grades 4–6, and Intermediate is Grade 6 and up.
  • Eight sessions per course, normally one each week. Competitive runs as five private one-to-one sessions instead.
  • Sessions are two hours long, or one hour for private Competitive coaching.
  • Groups of 4–8, grouped by age. Competitive is private one-to-one.
  • One session needs a laptop or iPad for visual-aid practice.
  • Entry is open through Intermediate. Competitive requires an assessment.
  • Taught in person at the Pan Campus in Silom–Sathorn.

The roadmap

Where a student starts, and what comes next.

The first three levels are sets of eight-session courses taken in order, with students grouped by age as well as level. Competitive is a five-session private track. A student joins where their grade and experience put them, finishes the courses in that level, and moves up.

  1. 01

    Foundation I, II

    • Grades 4–6
    • 2 hours a session
    • Open entry

An introduction to speaking with confidence: projection, eye contact, and organizing a simple thought into a short speech.

    What to expect

Comfort standing up and speaking in front of a group, and the building blocks of a clear, organized speech.

  2. 02

    Beginner I, II

    • Grades 4–6
    • 2 hours a session
    • Open entry

Structure and delivery technique. Students learn to organize ideas persuasively, hold a stage, and use storytelling so a point is remembered rather than just heard.

    What to expect

More confident delivery through stage presence, clearer speech structure, and a working awareness of audience and tone.

  3. 03

    Intermediate I, II

    • Grade 6 and up
    • 2 hours a session
    • Open entry

Polish and persuasion. Students take one idea into different settings — a business pitch, a presentation, a campaign speech — and refine delivery against more demanding material.

    What to expect

Persuasive, polished delivery, and the judgment to change tone and structure to suit the audience and the type of speech.

  4. 04

    Competitive Private one-to-one

    • Entry assessment
    • Private one-to-one
    • Five sessions
    • 1 hour a session

A personalized track for students entering speaking competitions, coached to the format they have chosen and to their own style. Sessions cover prompts, script development, and question-and-answer.

    What to expect

Competition-ready speeches, one-to-one feedback, and the composure to deliver under tournament conditions.

Competitive is the one level that does not run as a group course. It is booked as five private sessions and shaped around the competition the student is entering.

What students learn

Five things a speaker has to be able to do.

01

Find the one idea a speech is actually about, and cut what does not serve it.

02

Structure that idea so an audience can follow it the first time they hear it.

03

Use voice, pace, and pause deliberately rather than by accident.

04

Hold a room with posture, eye contact, and stillness.

05

Answer a question they were not expecting without losing the thread.

How the course runs

Eight sessions, one a week

  • Eight sessions per course, normally one each week. Competitive runs as five private one-to-one sessions.
  • Sessions are two hours long, or one hour for private Competitive coaching.
  • Every session includes speaking and specific feedback. Students deliver, get notes, and deliver again.
  • Groups of 4–8, grouped by age.
  • One session requires a laptop or iPad for visual-aid practice.

Attendance, make-up sessions, and the end-of-course report work the same way across all three programs. See how courses work.
